I have a Worcester boiler system, when radiators turned off and DHW is turned on we still have a few radiators which remain hot. Does anyone have an explanation why this happens? Thanks
Are the rads that remain hot upstairs by any chance?
If the upstairs rads get hot whilst the downstairs rads stay cold, it is because hot water is less dense than cold water and rises - however, if the c/heating is OFF then no rads should warm up!
If some rads get hot when the boiler is heating water only (and the c/heating is off), then there is a fault in the pipework OR a valve is stuck.
Thank you for your responses, I have had the boiler looked at now by someone who understands them better than me and the problem was related to the ECO button!!!!
