hi there think i have a prob with my central heating valve (it's a honeywell 2 port) when i turn the heating on the motor turn's but theres no hot water going to rads however if i move the lever to manual i get hot radiator's , any ideas?

looks like the motor is not turning the valve, I'm assuming there's a gear mechanism that is disengaged/broken, or the valve spindle is stiff.
I've taken the motor head off a honeywell '3 position valve' just to check the output collar that engages with the valve spindle was turning.
I found it was OK but the valve spindle was stiff when turning it by hand, however working in a dose of WD40 seemed to cure it.
You may have to replace the motor head.
