Ceramic tiles on wood floor

Can someone advise me please. I have a wooden suspended floor, which is 18mm chip board. Can I lay ceramic tiles with flexible adhesive straight onto the chipboard. If I put ply on top of the chipboard then tile I will be half way up the skirting board.
