chaffoteaux corvec 45 open flue boiler problem

Hi

I have a problem with a chaffoteaux corvec 45 open flue boiler. I can light the pilot but as the control knob turns to about half way the pilot goes out. Any ideas why this would be happening?

New t/couple req or if it is really old model that has a fusible link this may have melted.

Thanks for that, it is the old type with the fuseable link but that seems to be intact. tested with multimeter.

Go for t/couple first if you are really unlucky it will be the gas valve but this is unusual on these.
Have a look at chaff web site part numbers may still be on there.
Getting on for 35 year old now i would imagine
