Hi,
We have some aluminium window frames all around the house which the previous owner had put in, not sure how long ago but we have been living there for 10 years.
The problem I have is that one of the safety handles which closes the window in the bathroom has broken. The actual handle has come away from the device (think these are glued on). Now there are 2 in the bathroom and they are not key locks or anything like that, just normal handles. I am pretty sure the device which the handle has come away from is screwed onto the frame using something kind of allen key but not 100% sure because over time it has corroded so difficult to tell.
How do I go about changing the whole device with handle. It is not possible to glue the handle back plus anyway it will come away again at a later date. I need a new device, does anyone know who specialises in these kind of safety devices?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
