Changing room to spotlights...Rcd needed

Hi guys we are thinking of changing our dining room to led spots from a single drop pendent as part of a refurbished project.

Currently the downstairs lights are not rcd protected, it's a split board with sockets etc rcd, but not the lights.

Would the downstairs lights need upgrading to rcd, there are no spaces left on the rcd side of the board.

It's an existing circuit, in a dining room, so it is not necessary to RCD protect the circuit.
