Chevrolet Venture turn signal lights

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Venture and have come across an issue where my blinker lights flash fast and all rear signal lights flash when the brake is pressed and I try to signal left. This is confounding me, anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like an "earth" problem on your rear light cluster or wrong bulbs fitted.

This exact same thing happened to me. All that was wrong was a wire in one of my rear lights had come loose.I just pushed all the wires in and it fixed it.

Sorry for the disturbance but a exact same issue I had a few weeks ago though the traction control was the one that got affected and im sure one of my female sockets had been burnt out. So what I did was that I shaved a piece of thin copper wire and slipped it in to the enlarged socket but had paid the mechanic for the liquid solder.
