Chile Quake

My heart goes out to them and all the others that are suffering from recent disasters. The Earth's very unforgiving at the moment. There seems to be no end to the natural disasters ......

Johnmelad ...... an act of God or an act of who would be God ?

These 'natural happenings' that people blame as 'Acts of god' have me a bit confused.
As there are so many religions that claim their god is THE god, there must be a dozen of these gods somewhere and they must take it in turns to work.
So which god was on duty on:
Dec 26th 2004 with 200,000 DEAD
Jan 13th 2010 with 230,000 DEAD

Better check the rota because it looks like at least one of the gods is a bad'un, or at least failing his supporters.

God the Father; God over us. The Creator and Ruler, who is beyond human understanding.

God the Son; God with us. Jesus the Saviour, or Redeemer, who takes away sins.

God the Holy Spirit; God in us. The power of God experienced by people in their lives, the living force of God all over the world; often pictured as a dove. The Holy Spirit inspires people, brings them to a new life, and gives them strength in times of difficulty.
Must be one of these.

Or parhaps this one:

"In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone."

Some non-Muslims allege that God in Islam is a stern and cruel God who demands to be obeyed fully. He is not loving and kind. Nothing can be farther from truth than this allegation. It is enough to know that, with the exception of one, each of the 114 chapters of the Quran begins with the verse: "In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate." In one of the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) we are told that "God is more loving and kinder than a mother to her dear child."

Its one thousand times stronger than the quake in Haiti, yet there is a small number of casualties in comparison. How the 'Western' world evolves eh :!:

Chile (IIRC) had a quake of 9.5 in the 60's. Biggest quake ever measured. The latest one is still in the top 10 of of biggest quakes every accuratey recorded.

The 'ring of fire' lives up to its name.

Flooze

Seems like a website designed to kill people because the information is totally inacurate unless you pay attention to the dates of the postings.

Well done USA, can't resisit demonstrating that the rest of the world are worthless scum.

I thought they had a new caring presdent, what a larf.

The logical conclusion must be that USA presidents are rated by the number of people they kill.
