Hi, i need to install both external ventilation for both my chimney hood and toilet fan.

I have an existing vent pipe which was used before for the kitchen. Instead of having a separate external vent pipe for the toilet i've heard that its possible to connect both ducts to the same vent pipe by means of a T section. But, for regulations purposes there must be back flaps so that the air cannot go from one room to the other.

I understand the idea but can't find any info/products that would suit.

Does anyone know about this?

thanks

Brian.

Can't answer your question as to how or whether it is allowed but if you type "tlc direct" (ignore quotes) into Google, tlc-direct.co.uk will come up. These supply all sorts including ventilation.
