I after getting my chimney removed in the living room only, the depth of the chimney in the living room is 20inch and 7 inch in the bedroom, Any Idea on what will be needed and how much this should cost??

If your chimney is on a party wall, be careful about the upstairs chimney breast. The projection of 7" is very shallow, and it could be that, if its a party wall, the flues of the 2 houses are side-by-side. If so, it may not be possible to remove the upstairs breast, so check first (many council houses had this arrangment).
