Need to move some radiators in the morning, to save draining down the entire system I was considering using the JG Push Fit Chrome Isolating Valves.

I'd welcome any opinions on them, as once fitted they'll be under a brand new floor so will only be accessed if absolutely neccesary.

I'm a little woried that my oil boiler heats the water hoter than the 65 deg C limit on plastic push fitting but there's no upper limit quoted for the Chrome ones.

Don't do that. Just drain down.

If you're moving rads and want the heating on while you're working, then fit those valves temporarily, but remove them when you reconnect the rad(s).

1. Don't fit them on your heating system.
2. Don't fit them under a floor.
3. If you fit them, don't be surprised at what happens next.

Please don't fit any ball-o-fix type valves on your heating system, especially under the floor.
