Hi guys. I have an old corded Bosch PSB 600 RES and i can not open or close its chuck anymore.........it is a sort of stuck. Could anyone please advice me on how to remove its chuck and where i can get a replacement one which is not going to cost me more than a new drill? I do not want to choke it away because apart from the chuck it works ok and i can keep it for general diy around the house. Thank you for your time.

Thanks m8 but i really do not want to spend 25 pounds on a 11 year drill. I will have a look if i can find a second hand one.....would anyone be able to tell me how to replace the chuck of the above mentioned drill please? Ta.

wd 40 or loads off oil and leave for 48 hrs

if the chuck is open then look for a screw or hex in the center off the chuck between the jaws

Well spend 58 or so on a direct replacement drill:D
£25 quid is a fair price, unless you go 2nd hand.
But with 2nd hand they could go pop at any time.
