Hi guys

This is an Opella dual flush cistern, and excess water is dribbling into the WC.

I tried adjusting with the adjuster as shown attached, but it does not seem to work.

DSC 0056 in 1st photo shows adjuster on right. 0058 Dual flush valve.

Any ideas on this please.

Thanks

Most likely the flush valve isn't seating properly.

You should be able to remove the remove the flush valve by twisting gently and lifting out - then check the seal for damage of limescale build up.

It's also possible that the cable is sticking as it looks like a tight radius - check the cable is moving freely.

Grip the valve low down, look first and you will see the lugs engaged, go easy as easy to break them.

You mentioned tried the adjuster, so just to say if the level is set too high water will continue to run in to the pan via the built in overflow.

If you remove the valve, the rubber seat on the bottom might show "Bubbles", sometimes bursting the bubbles with a pin is a temporary fix, if no bubbles then clean the seat and the mating surface (left in the bottom of the cistern) with a damp cloth.
Rubber seats for some valves are available separately.

If it’s “overflowing” then sounds more like the inlet valve is not shutting off!

If water is running into the pan “as” the cistern is “filling up”, then as said above, it will be the dump valve not seating properly in the outlet to the pan. If a top fitted flush valve, this can be removed and the washer either cleaned or replaced.
