Hi all,

I've already posted this into the builders forum but not sure who would do this job...

I need to get a toilet reinstated but the old soil waste pipe has been filled with concrete. I was advised by a plumber that it will need replacing (i.e. dug out right to the manhole outside) by a builder. Is this correct??

Many thanks in advance

No, if the pipe is conveniently out side the building he should be able to dig down and join onto it.

Be warned it could be encased in concrete, in which case the inspection chamber will look a good bet.

Until you expose the pipe you wont know.
