CLEANING DECKING

Hi all, have an area of decking under tree's which is a lot dirtier than the rest, I have heard of using bleach before jet washing (watered down) have any of you tried this method, did it work, and what ratio water to bleach. If not do you know of a product that actually works. Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure I would use bleach on wood as it will probably turn it white.

I would try using just the pressure washer first to see how well that goes (although don't hold it too close as it could chew up the wood). Hope that helps - I'm sure others here will know what the best thing to use is.

P.S. If you plan to stain it after, avoid water based products as I have found they have a tendency to flake off.
