Hi
We have quite a long wooden fence which we need to reapply stain to but it will need to be cleaned first.
Doing it by hand is a no-no as I think we'd be dead on our feet before long if we had to scrub by hand. We also can't really use a pressure washer as we have neighbours on the other side and can't have (dirty) water spraying through the fence.

So I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas ? Maybe some kind of electrical cleaner I've not thought of that doesn't spray water everywhere ? Or do attachments for pressure washers or hoses work well enough to reduce the (hard) work ?

Thanks

A pressure washer will work very well for this - but of course the spray will get through the gaps.
Maybe pressure wash from both sides and then treat both sides - if the neighbour is friendly?

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I'll have a think about what to do.

The wood stain has faded and there are parts with moss or algae on it. So cleaning before re-applying fresh stain seems sensible.
