I have a total of 7 cast iron radiators which will soon be connected to a combi condensing boiler (1st meter of pipe from boiler will be copper, all other pipework will be plastic)and form the basis of my central heating(CH) system. What I'd like to know is:
1. Should I flush these our seperately before connecting them all together OR
2. Will I be able to flush the system through by connecting the 'flow' to the boiler and allowing the 'return' to drain into my domestic drainage system?
Also..
3. I have seen a product which claims to remove almost all sludge from a CH sytem, called Magna clean. [url]http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/92-0000 OR http://www.plumbworld.co.uk/1374-0000. Can anyone advise me as to whether this would be necessary or does anyone have first hand experience of how effective this product is?
