Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me with my close coupled toilet fitting.
I have purchased an RT Large Maria toilet because I knew I needed a toilet to fit a soil pipe 18cm away from the wall. This was the toilet I was told would fit.
I have bought a swan neck fitting and cut to the smallest possible size however the problem is the angle of my soil pipe, more like a 45 degree angle.
With the swan neck attached to soil as it is the combined width is roughly 34cm, however the gap for the toilet waste is 26 cm max so in this configuration it will not fit.
I guess my question is can I cut the soil pipe from the ground as it bends so the soil is coming straight up? Will the diameter of the pipe be too large at this point then for the swan neck seal?
I see this as my only option but the bend is quite close to the ground so I want to be sure before I cut it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Brendan
