Closing off garage opening?

I have recently moved into a house that has a garage with no door. The ceiling height is quite low, with almost no clearance between the lintel and the ceiling, so instead I would like to wall off the front of the garage to protect the contents from the elements.

Would a stud frame with timber cladding do the job here? It would not be load bearing, just enough to close keep the weather out, possibly with a door to retain access. Is there anything in particular to be aware of here?
