Hi,
Any help with a tap problem would be great. The cold tap on our bathroom sink has stopped working. You can turn it until it stops but no water comes out. This happened a week ago, then it returned to a fairly weak trickle and now it has stopped again, completely. Oddly, the hot tap has also slowed quite a lot recently. Both taps on the bath in the same room seem to be fine. Any ideas on what might be causing this. Air bubble? And also on how to fix. Both taps have isolation valves on the pipes as they go towards the bottom of the sink. Many thanks in advance,
Cheddarman

Sounds like the circlip has either broken or come away from the spindle within the tap.

Isolate water supply and undo tap head and you may then see problem, if not, undo tap body and reveal the large threaded shank that lifts and closes washer, that may have come unscrewed.

Some times easier just to relace complete tap head, loads of different types but good merchants keep them.
