Cold Tap will not turn on Fully

Hi there,

I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but as I have no idea about plumbing it may as well be quantum physics!

The cold tap in my bathroom has progressively got less and less turn in it. At the moment it only turns from say a starting position of 12 o'clock to a finishing position of 3 o'clock in an anti-clockwise direction. The hot tap turns anti-clockwise about 3 full rotations. I'm still getting an ok flow of cold water out but there is obviously something wrong and I'd like to fix it.

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Could need a new washer or a new tap head which you can get as a tap reviver kit.
