Colin Pitchfork, the first murderer in history to be convicted using DNA evidence, has been recommended for release by the Parole Board.
Pitchfork, who had a string of sex offences going back to his teenage years, raped and killed two schoolgirls in the 1980’s. He almost escaped justice because he persuaded one of his workmates to masquerade as him and take the DNA test on his behalf. Thankfully the deception was eventually uncovered and Pitchfork was tried and sentenced to life imprisonment.
And now, at age 62, he’s been recommended for release by those nice people at the Parole board. Have they learned nothing in recent years?
This devil incarnate should not be given a second chance;...he gave those poor girls no chance!
A Parole Board spokesman said " Protecting the public is our number one priority."...What ‽‽‽
There is only one sure way to protect the public from this monster as far as I’m concerned.
