I have a combi boiler on the opposite side of the house wrt the bathroom, so the water takes about 30-40 seconds to get to the shower.
If I never turn off the water during the shower, then there isn’t any problem. But if I turn the shower off for a few seconds and then reopen it, then I get warm water for 30-40 seconds, then it turns cold for another 10-15 seconds and then become warm again.
Obviously this is because when the boiler turns off there is hot water in the pipe just after the boiler, when I open the shower again, cold water passes through the boiler without having time to be heated and it gets to the shower 30-40 seconds later.
Is this a normal behaviour? Is there a way around this? Like a setting on the boiler to keep it on for longer or something like that?
