combi boiler not working

Hi i Have a 24i worcester combi boiler thats stopped giving us hot water and heating,prior to this our fan has been making a lot of noise like the bearings are worn.What is the sequence that takes place when the hot tap is switched on ie fan starts first then the gas solenoid opens etc,my knowledge is in electrical,if any one could give me some advice i would be very grateful.

sequence depends on boiler make models i think but i would go with fan first.

If th fan was noisy that its quite likely to have competely failed now.

The fans on Worcesters often seem to fail prematurely but luckily they are not too expensive.
