I am about to get a combi boiler installed in my 2 bed terraced house, and the installer has suggested a model with a 27.200 to 93.800 btu rating.

Can anyone advise whether there would be any advantage in going for a combi with a higher btu rating than has been proposed ? Conversely, would there be any disadvantage in going for a higher btu rating ?

Thanks in advance

Your water pressure, how many baths, showers, hot tap, and the flow rate is the bit to look for.

That's an odd figure. What's the boiler? Ask about the price difference for a 100.000 say. 100k is noticeably better than 80k. Apart from odd boilers the next step after that is a big one in cost though.. Most supplies are ok for 100k but do get it checked.
