I have a Ideal CF80 (I think) and it has started making a noise like a motorbike dragracing down my street.
The gas fires up then after a few seconds it makes a loud kind of moan for a few seconds then the gas goes out again.
It seems only to do it with the CH and seems to get better after it has warmed up, although the ignition lockout light has developed a tendency to come on.
