Concealing wires

This is for the floor laying experts.
I am about to have a solid wooden floor layed, with beading, to be glued down. I need to conceal loudspeaker wires running the length of the room, passing a door either side and a hearth.The wires will be running the same way as the boards.Is it possible to lay on top of the wires?

I forgot to mention the floor is concrete.

put the speaker wires behind the skirting, and round or under the architrave.

under the floor is a bad idea, you will be stuffed if you want to upgrade them or the floor fitter cuts one.
