Hello,
I have been having problems with my boiler for a good while now without being able to solve the issue.

Recently it has come to light that the whole development has had the same issue, which turns out to be the incorrect installation of the condensate pipe.

I am looking for an explanation on exactly how a condensate pipe should be installed/flow, could anyone please explain?

My issue is that the pipe is installed where it comes out of the boiler, turns back on itself for 40mm, drops down 100mm, then runs level for about 1metre before disappearing behind sink. I get a back log of water all the way up to the boiler which shuts it down.

Many thanks

That I am unsure of, Could be either.
I do not have a problem with the sink waste though.
