Hi

We have a couple of patches of condensation on the inner wall of our house

The patch is directly in front of our Gas Meter box.

The walls were insulated about 6 years ago but this patch keeps coming back

It is very wet and goes black after a while

Does anyone know what we can do?

More likely no insulation around that area causing a localised cold spot = condensation rather than a leak.

If you can be certain there is no leak then you need to either insulate the area in some manner to minimize the cold bridging or increase ventillation to reduce humidity levels.

How can you insulate a Gas Meter Box?

Thanks

You would have to insulate the wall in front of the gas box.

Could you pack insulation around the meter - inside the box. And behind the meter if there's any space. Or alternatively I don't see any reason why you couldn't put insulation in front of the meter as long as it can easily be removed for reading.
