I get a considerable amount of condensation on my cistern in the bathroom. Don't get any in the other loo.
I have to place a bin at either side of the cistern to collect the dips.
The plumber said it's just one of those things that happens sometimes!
Is there anything I can do to prevent /reduce it?
Any advice appreciated.

When I fitted a new bathroom at home, I fitted the toilet direct to the mains and noticed that condensation was forming on the toilet cistern. By leaving the fan light window on the first catch helps keep the condensation to a minimal effect.

Went to a job once and found that the loo was supplied with hot water - No condensation. I don't know if this was done purposely but it worked.

Turn off water supply to cistern. Use a bucket of water to flush.
Amazing how much water can be saved this way.
Who's going to be arsed to fetch a bucket for every slash.

Leaving the window open in the bathroom has helped a lot! With the cold weather we are getting I foolishly kept all windows shut to conserve the heat, thus causing me another problem. Hopefully, it's not sorted. Thanks for the advice provided.
