Hi,
I've just fitted an MK Masterseal seal socket. The one I've fitted before ended up being conduit entering from the bottom, but this one had to be from the top. It's tight-ish below the overhanging eaves of a garage, so it's relatively well protected from rain - the small length of plastic conduit currently goes into the box using one of these conduit entries: http://www.discount-electrical.co.uk/shopimages/products/normal/domestic_wiring/MK/MK_56463.jpg ...but it isn't yet sealed.
The MK instructions mention "If used, conduit must be sealed to the conduit entry using a nonsetting conduit adhesive such as Egaweld No. 2. It is not necessary to apply adhesive to the enclosure/conduit joint.".
But...can't find this anywhere for sale. I see "No. 1" and "Plus", but not available from the usual places, and they look like solvent weld, not non-setting.
Anyone an alternative that they can recommend?
Thanks.
