Hi

Confused as it's suddenly appeared in different locations and different patterns.

1. Around damp course of recently finished conservatory. Could that be normal after all the rain we've had?

2. In a vertical line on older brickwork. We had cavity wall insulation done a year ago (diamond bead, new stuff?). Could that be cause? If so thought it would appear all over.

Bit worried now.

Will provide piccies if required.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Efflorescence; salts being brought to the surface by the drying-out process. Nothing to worry about. It will disappear after the summer.

Common-place as soon as the drier warmer weather arrives in early spring.

Have a look around it is efflorescence season. ;)

Hi

Many thanks for prompt replies. Come to think of it the neighbour has a bit too. Never noticed it in previous years.

Thanks again.
