Confused on Extension Roof Pitch and PD and PP

I think most do.

I hate these really low pitch tiled roofs
yes, I think very low pitched tiled or slated roofs should be avoided if possible, which is the decision to be made here i.e. when to change to a flat roof.

Thanks for all the replies, I've been away a while so I might be bringing up an old thread but to continue;

As many of you pointed out, at 5m on a pitched roof is not feasible.
Looking through, some ideas were;
A flat roof with EDPM / GRP
A pitch roof with flat roof covering EDPM / GRP
A gable roof
A flat roof with board + felt + tile
A pitch roof with tiles on battens on counter battens on membrane on sarking boards on rafters

But after going back to the drawing board I made some changes;
Reducing the length to 4m because of neighbour daylight 45 degree rule
A Hip Roof design because it is stronger than Gable
Allows for 26 degrees so I can place tiles and no need for EDPM / GRP
Maximum height is 3.5m, which is below window sill

So with these changes I assume it is a pass from building regulations?
