Connect Static Caravan to Mains?

I hope someone can help.

I wast to connect the caravan to the mains it appears to have 15mm Polyfit pipe and I have 25mm x 3.3mm blue mains polypipe.

What I can't figure out is which reducer I need?

Should I also put a stop cock on the pipe to the caravan?

Anything else I need?

Get yourself a 15mm x 25mm stop tap.

Make sure that any outside pipe runs are buried, min 750mm max 1350mm under ground.

And as you're in sunny Scotland, any exposed pipework in unheated areas - INSULATION, INSULATION, INSULATION!

Where does that max depth come from?

I dont remember that from my water course ( but it was a few years ago! )

And as you are in Bristol, where is Chris Hutt?

Is that the max depth you can go before you need to shutter the trench for H & S?

The max depth came from a Bristol Water engineer, when I was running a new service pipe to a house a few years ago. Can't remember the reason.
