Further to my last posts I have decided to self build my own conservatory.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as regards what is needed for the base?

Also where should I be looking for a self build conservatory and are they easy to put up? :D

One of the easiest way to do a base for the average diy'er and less hard work is a steel frame base. See this for more details.

Found another one here.

Get back to us if you're not interested in the steel frame & using the old methods instead with footing, reject, dpm, floor screed etc.

Thanks Masona
Looks expensive to have the steel frame :(

How would I go about it using concrete etc.? :D
Also do you know who does DIY conservatories apart from Wickes?

...and the Belle mixer is a great machine, worth every penny. I've had one for 25 years.
