Would appreciate any advice on the following.

The cheapest option for replacing my current 1980s 'wind tunnel/freezer' style conservatory seems to be another upvc kit. I am thinking I will have one wall just panels, and panels around the other two for the bottom third.
Do modern kits have any warmth advantage over the old ones? Am I still going to freeze in the winter? I do intend to put underfloor heating in the new one but unless the new upvc materials offer decent insulation and heat retention I'll be wasting my money.
The current structure has a triple layered polycarbonate roof (replaced 2 years ago) but it's still freezing. Should I go for glass or are there any new wonder-stuffs I could consider.
Or am I chucking good after bad anyway - should I just build one wall of brick and have the dwarf walls in brick (double presumably). If so, can I do this on the existing concrete base.
I will be getting quotes over the next month or so, but want to go into it with some idea of what I want - warmth! Even the dog whines with cold if he gets trapped out there. Thanks for any help.

most modern kits should have pilks k glass and a glass roof with low e glass would be a help if you go for under floor heating make sure you use a very good quality insulation first don't skimp at this point
