Hi folks.
I wonder how many of you have found consumer units in the bathroom?

This little surprise turned up when I went looking for a supply to a ceiling light. The light was still working when the 5A fuse was pulled and the other fuses in the small board were all 30A.

twas dusty

anyway whats the problem? it is easily accessible if you leave that board off, just cover it with a carrier bag (that's what my mum would do. Seriously you should have seen her xmas lights setup)

the dust will soon get washed away next time the bath overflows

I found this under a floor a while back. Seems the old CU was being used to earth the SWA to the garage, but infact failing miserably....

Seen a pic on a phone of a spark I bump into down the wholesalers, somebody had used an old white wylex standard under the boards like a splitter box when doing a CU re-locate.
