conventional boiler

i am having a new conventional boiler [condensing ] dont want combi i'm getting it fitted for me [corgi] was thinking of getting a vaillant ecotec plus 418 any comments good or bad to help make up my mind or make me more indisisive would be appreciated .used to have a glow worm 50ff went through pcbs like knife through butter -thanks

Don't get a 4 series, it is not up to the same standard as the Vaillant range. A quick comparison of it's guts inside will tell you all you need to know.

Other open vents include;

Viessmann 100W series (now the faults are fixed)
Broag Remeha 18v (easily fitted with weather comp)
Bosch Ri series and Bosch CDi conventional (the latter being better made)
