Hi Everyone , hope somebody can help.....I have a gas fire in my front room which I want removing but not replacing, I know I will have to get the gas supply capped off which is fine. I want to turn the original fireplace into a decorative non functioning one how do I do that ?
Do I need to vent it ,if so where ?
Do I need to brick it up ?
Do I have to block the chimney to stop things falling down it ?
It may still have a disconnected back boiler in place could this be a problem ?
