Hi all,

Can anyone tell me - can I connect an electric hob, and electric single oven to the same junction box, then run 1 cable to main cooker switch?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanx

yes, BUT a better way is to fit a socket on the oven's cable from the supply, in an adjacent cupboard, and fit a 13a plug to the oven's flex. This ensures that any guarrantee requirement to have a 13A fuse on the supply is adhered to. (most say 15/16/20A, but single ovens generally only run at 2-3kw, which is less than 13A)
