Hello to all --- wonder if someone can help

Property has 4mm wiring plus 30A fuse designated separate supply for electric cooker on radial circuit, and is within 12m of consumer unit.

New cooker is to be gas so am wondering if there is any issue to using this circuit for providing power to new cooker hood --- intend on putting 1 x FCU plus 2.5mm to hood from the 4mm

I understand there would be problems if you wanted to use 2.5mm for installing a cooker for example, but is there any prob the other way round.

Good advice appreciated

Many thanks

If the new cooker is gas, put another FCU where the electrical outlet is for it, with a 3 amp fuse in.
