Corner beading

Hi, and thanks in advance.

I have just about finished plasterboarding my garage conversion, and have the metal corner beads to fix around some corners.

My question is whether there is a specific type of nail/tack to use to fix it to the plasterboard?

Galvanised nails. Inch and a quarter in length (33mm)-ish.

I use a staple gun &/or a dab of grab adhesive every 6 inches to hold them in place; nails tend to damage the edge of the plasterboard if your not careful.

Never had the problem of damaged edges. Tack the nails in at a slight angle away from the corner and they're done.
