Hi all,

I am just in the process of renovating the kids room and I have a doubt on how to tackle a corner crack that goes from the skirting board to the cealing in one corners.
Seems like this was there before we bought the house as I could not spot the fix from previous owner. I did not notice until I got my hands dirty.

What would you recommend in this case? Shall y just add some easifill and sand it down? Or should I reinforce it in some way?

Thank you for your help,

Any chance you did it when removing that skirting board? Looks like the angle bead has been knocked/tugged/disturbed and cracked the plaster over the wings.
I'd dig the loose stuff out the crack and fill.

Actually I thought it was me how did it but, then looking at it in details it was fixed before...
Would it require any sort of tape? Or just removing the cracking and filling? Thanks

Use a magnet as will stick to metal bead.
If that's the problem.
Hack saw threw under cove. Easy enough that.
Remove and replace bead.
Might have to chip off a bit of plaster.
Stick new bead on with polymer grab.
Buy some powdered filler to make good.
Sand and paint.

I use polymer grab to stick all my beads on, especially at the bottom where it can be knocked. If stuck on with plaster only they can pop off easy.
