The last time I watched it, it was in black and white and Ken Barlow was a student. Annie and Jack Walker were running the pub, Len Fairclough had a pocket full of Mars bars. Ena, Mini and Martha were drinking milk stout. Dennis was being a pain. Elsie Tanner was a bit of a lass. I think Alf Roberts had just arrived.

What was happening when you FIRST saw the show? Who is the earliest character you remember?
