Correct reg requirements for walls / ceilings?

hi all, just been wondering what the standard is for a new wall between a commerical room and a residential room. The current wall/cieling has 2 sheets of 9.5mm plasterboard, but I have to extend the wall and ceiling and wondered if I should just use the same or improve the whole thing?

either way what is the current requirement?
e.g.
12.5mm plasterboard
12.5mm plasterboard
3x2 timbers
12.5mm plasterboard
12.5mm plasterboard

fair enough, even if its a new section of wall? i.e. extended the commerce space...
