Does any one have any quotes -estimates for a 3-bed semi rewire .
X2 light circuits
X2 ring mains
x1 cooker circuit
X1 Imersion heater
All the above on individual rcbo's and a flush installation no low voltage lighting .Just curious as i know there are lots of variables but wondered how big the differnces would be up and own the country.

Its a bit like how long is a piece of string! Costs of rewires will depend hugely, is the house still being lived in, is there furniture in the rooms, are there fitted carpets etc etc.....

plastic sockets, brass sockets, the list goes on.

There used to be forum rule 9 that said do not ask for quotes, but admin saw fit to remove it.

It has been upgraded to forum rule 6 "6) Job Pricing. Please do not rely on prices given. You should get quotes from tradespeople that have been recommended to you."

if thats all ive got to go on for pricing, then its going to be about fifty grand

thats only if its a 'normal' house though

from previous quotes ive had and friends have had id say between 2-7 grand all depending on how many sockets lights, switches etc u want and whether u have the backboxes already in for the flush fittings and that price i would say could be including fittings or might not be.

You need to say how many sockets, how many lights and switches, whether theyre double or single and whether u just want labour or labour and fittings
