Lifting some decking that I've inherited on Thursday to put some gaps between them again. Screwed down with decking screws which aren't meant to be shifted once in, so I've been using a bolster chisel to either shear the existing screws or prise the boards up.
Anyway, down to the last eight boards with no hiccups (hurrah!!). Hammer bolster chisel in where there should be a gap, lean on said bolster chisel, CRACK!!. Bugger I thinks , now I've got to go and try to find a 33mm thick plank.
WRONG. Woke up Friday am with a finger twice its normal size, it was a bone that had cracked not the board.
Still, I get 2 weeks r n r before I go on holiday, just praying the sun stays out !!
