Can I create a new doorway in this wall (the wall with the horizontal stripes)?
It is a solid wall, and it is load bearing.
I just thought, if I do knock through I'm concerned about the stability of the corner.
Any advice much appreciated.

Gah! wrong thread, sorry! 
You come across clusters of doorways in older pre 1914 houses, and no structural difficulties are encountered.
However, there are too many unknowns including point loads, any previous knock-thro's, and site dimensions, for me to give you any advice.
The odds are that its good to go but a professional site view is really required.
