Has anyone used creocote and is it effective or any good?

Summer house is in need of treatment and is not tanalised timber...

It is the substitute for creosote and from when I've used it has been just as effective; it still smells the same ;)
 
You cannot buy or even legally use creosote these days I believe, it is really nasty stuff, highly effective, but highly carcinogenic.

It smells the same and works great.
Gives a good colour too. I have just used it on a gate and 2 panels.
