Buried & unprotected 25mm
Buried & protected against corrosion 16mm
Buried & protected against corrosion & mechanical damage 2.5mm

Not buried 4mm
Not buried protected against corrosion 4mm
Not buried protected against corrosion & mechanical damage 2.5mm
 
Will run down outside wall of bungalow protected by 20mm black plastic conduit to earth spike at base of wall ... so sounds like 10mm will be fine! Thank You for your assistance.

Do electricians make good earth conductors then? Do you recommend a fat one or a thin one ... and where does the earth spike go?
